An annual survey on the state of sustainability in small and medium-sized Italian companies
The project
The ESG Observatory is an annual survey conducted by Sole24Ore on the state of sustainability in small and medium-sized Italian companies. Each year, a predefined sample of companies listed on segments of the Italian Stock Exchange is invited to fill out a questionnaire via an online platform that analyses how companies’ environmental, social and governance policies are implemented and monitored.
The results of this initiative are available on theESG Observatory dashboard and provide a detailed picture of what Italian listed companies are doing on the sustainability front. They are very valuable data for private investors who will support public investors in achieving the ecological transition, and for banks that will have to finance SMEs by considering the companies sustainability in the future.
