AI LITERATE

AI LITERATE

A research project to counter disinformation in the age of GenAI

The project

AI-LITERATE is an Erasmus+ project that aims to counter disinformation in the age of Generative Artificial Intelligence within European higher education institutions.

The project’s goal is to design, test, and validate an innovative Blended Learning Programme combining 20 hours of online learning with a three-day in-person Bootcamp, targeting both university teachers and students.

Through needs analysis, research activities, co-design processes, and pilot testing across multiple countries, AI-LITERATE seeks to strengthen the capacity of the entire academic community to use GenAI tools responsibly and to address emerging forms of disinformation.

The project will produce guidelines, multimedia educational resources, a scientific publication, and dissemination initiatives with the aim of reaching over 5,000 students, fostering a more critical academic culture focused on understanding and the ethical use of AI.
